  • Empathy begins by understanding people within the systems they operate in.
I focus on learning how users think, what pressures they face, and how business rules, tools, and constraints shape their behavior. Through research, observation, and close collaboration with stakeholders, I work to uncover not just what users do—but why they do it—so design decisions are grounded in real-world context, not assumptions.

  • Define is where understanding becomes direction. I synthesize research, behavioral patterns, and business context to clarify the true problem behind the noise—framing user needs, constraints, and opportunities in a way that aligns teams and guides confident design decisions.

  • Ideation is about exploring viable directions, not chasing volume.
I focus on generating and evaluating ideas that are grounded in research, technical realities, and business constraints—using collaboration, rapid exploration, and prototyping to test assumptions and converge on solutions that can realistically be built and maintained.

  • Prototyping is a thinking tool, not a final deliverable. I use prototypes to explore interactions, validate assumptions, and reduce risk early—focusing on clarity, feasibility, and decision-making rather than polish. The goal is to quickly surface what works, what doesn’t, and what needs refinement before committing to build.

  • Testing validates direction, not just usability. I use testing to confirm assumptions, surface risk, and understand how designs perform under real conditions—whether through formal studies, lightweight validation, or stakeholder review. The goal is to gather evidence early and often, so decisions are informed before they become expensive to change.

  • Implementation is where design meets reality. I work closely with engineers and stakeholders to ensure solutions are clearly communicated, technically feasible, and faithfully executed—supporting build, iteration, and refinement as real-world constraints emerge.

  • Design continues after launch.
I stay engaged post-implementation to monitor outcomes, gather feedback, and respond to real-world usage—iterating where needed to improve clarity, performance, and adoption as systems evolve.
